here are the part numbers for the bilsteins:

front bil: 0603BE5-6582-H5 (engraved on the bottom of the shock)

rear bil: F4-BE5-6583-H5 (on a sticker on the shaft)
0503BE5-6583H5 (engraved on bottom)

i'm assuming the part numbers are the same for both front shocks and the two numbers for the rear are the "right" and "left" shocks.

80 dollars per leaf spring takes them. i think 75 dollars per pair for the shocks is more than reasonable. that's like half price.

*EDIT: if mr eightyfive had read this entire thread, he would have known that he was buying shocks off a rolled 4runner. it states the truck was rolled in the VERY first post on this thread.

i think i proved my point. goodnight.

yes, i could of backed off BUT YOU ASSURED ME THAT THE SHOCKS WERE FINE, and that it's only rats that got to them. i trusted you. i FIRMLY stated that i dont care about the boot, i am MORE WORRIED bout the rod underneath. this is when he assures me nothing is wrong but only rats eating the boot. so, in short, i made the problem clear to you, and you said it WASN'T A PROBLEM.

funny you say that now. when i was over there at his house, he was telling me about MY truck, making recomendations, and even advising me what to buy.

i specificly asked you "HOW OLD ARE THE SHOCKS?", then you say, "I BOUGHT THEM AND HAD THEM ON MY TRUCK FOR 6 MONTHS, THEN I ROLLED IT. THEY'VE BEEN SITTING IN MY GARAGE LONGER THAN I HAD THEM ON MY TRUCK" you were advoiding my question (bad seller?) or you answered my question stating that the shocks are 6months used.

i miss counted my money before i got there. we agreed on me paypaling you the $10. you even said it was only $10 and not really a big deal! you are being contradicting!

i PM'd you before posting anything....you replied that i got a good deal and you won't give me my money back. i never demanded, i stated that i think i should get my money back.

this is the first PM i wrote him after i bought it.

on top of that i sold them to you so cheap that you're lucky i even sold them to you. it was a fair deal. 200 bucks was a steal, then you show up 10 dollars short.

it's a done deal. you're lucky i even chose to do business with you.

goodbye.

keep in mind, i never threatened him. then i PM'd him again. he oviously doesn't want to settle this.

as you can see, i never demanded. then he emails me back saying that you can't just return something after you buy it.... my reasoning is, we had a verbal contract of him stating that the shocks were FINE and that nothing is wrong with the rods. i email him back.....STILL NO THREATENING.

a steal? i bought the package mainly for the shocks, and it turns out that the shocks are crap. (6months old?, fuckin bull shit). BAD SELLER.
this guy is really making me mad now.

ok, you know what? even if i did mess up, i'm not perfect and i had no idea the shocks were defective when i sold them to you.

i had no friggen clue. all i saw was a torn boot and i didn't see how that would hurt anything. then when you got home, you took the boots off and (MAYBE i still have seen no proof) there was a defect. i'll wait until you post pics.

maybe i went a little overboard, but you pissed me off really good.

i don't think one bad transaction makes me a bad seller. you just blew EVERYTHING out of proportion. this could have been handled so much better, but you had to tell the entire TTORA forum about it and all you did was piss me off.

maybe i messed up, but you're still acting like a little girl about it. we could have fixed this, but you didn't even give me a chance. next thing i know, my name is all over the forum about how i'm a horrible seller because i had one bad transaction. that right there, sir, is why i have been angry with you.

i am not going to say any of this again.

maybe i'll be willing to work with you if you apologize to me and the rest of this forum and take back all the negative feedback. forget everything i said about the shocks, you didn't give me anytime and you didn't show me any proof before you made negative posts regarding me and our transaction.

there is no denying it, you gave me NO chance and showed me NO proof of the defect before announcing to the entire forum what a horrible seller i am.

show me pics, and MAYBE i'll cooperate and we can get this fixed. i'm still pissed off at you, but i'm not going to hold a grudge. next time just try not to be so stupid about it. maybe try contacting me and showing me EVIDENCE before you go about making my experience on TTORA a complete living hell.

now, PM me and perhaps MAYBE (if you aren't being a little prick) we can fix this.

-alan

after thinking about it.

i have every right to not refund your money.

and you pissed me off good enough that i don't think you're going to get it back. i just plain don't like you. i didn't like you from the start.

i am closing this thread and i am resigning from ttora. you are completly full of crap and making accusations and not showing any proof of your claims.

it's not my fault you drove down here and bought the shocks, it's yours. you inspected the shocks and you could have taken the boot off before you left if you were that concerned. SO STOP BLAMING ME.

you came here, you paid for them, you left, the shocks are yours, stop your bitching.

you can run, but you can't hide. make this right before i show the whole 4x4 world your address. again, you don't even want to deal with the problem. go ahead, run away, and get a new name. it just shows that i am RIGHT. i have no reason to spoil my name and no reason to hide.

in 2 days, your address will be on every forum i am signed up on. YOU are a very bad seller and by RESIGNING you are also very guilty. in fact, i dont even want to look at your face, or hear your words with my ears. PAYPAL ME FOR THE SHOCKS, there is nothing wrong with the springs, AND I WILL SHIP YOU YOUR CRAP SHOCKS. and just to staisfy you, i WILL SHOW YOU PICTURES. you have2 days, thats final.
